FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Below are frequently asked questions, with answers, of course.  If you have a question that hasn't been asked and answered,
please
contact us.

Q:        What is the ordering process?
A:        Please see our Information page for a detailed description of the ordering process.

Q:        May I make changes to the proof you send me?
A:        Of course!  The initial proof will be designed using the information provided on your order submission.  Upon
receipt of your proof, you may notify us of any changes in text and/or picture placement, cropping, etc.  Please
be as thorough as possible with your changes to minimize additional proofing changes, as each proof change
will delay receipt of your finished cards.  We will provide up to three proofs of the same design at no additional
charge.  Proof changes after the third proof will incur a design fee of $10.

Q:        May I see proofs of more than one design?
A:        We design each card individually and are happy to design multiple proofs, so you will have the perfect card for your
occasion; however, because of the time involved in designing each proof, a $10 fee will be charged for each
additional design.  Please be specific on your order submission regarding each design to be readied for proofing.

Q:        What type and size photos should I submit?
A:        Please see our Photo Specifications page for specific information on photo requirements.

Q:        I do not have a scanner or digital image.  May I send my photo to you via "snail" (USPS) mail for my card?
A:        Sure.  We can scan your photo for your card.  Please keep in mind that this mode of photo submission
will delay your proof design.  Please enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you want your photo to be
        returned to you.

Q:        Can you convert my photo to black and white?
A.        Yes, we prefer all images be submitted to us in their original color, high-resolution format.  We will utilize our
professional expertise to digitally convert your images to black and white or sepia tone, as directed.  Please
do not attempt to convert your images before submission, as many times this conversion will result in a grayscale
version of your original image, causing it to look dull, without definition or contrast.

Q:        Will you edit my photos before designing my card?
A:        SofieBelle will perform minor editing, as needed, to your submitted images.  These edits include color and contrast
correction and clarity improvement.  Date stamps will be removed if doing so will not harm the subject matter of
your photo.  More extensive edits, such as small blemish,es, etc. will be performed when requested on orders
        over $125.

Q:        I saw a holiday design on your site that I'd like to use for my birth announcement.  Is it possible to
modify a design for a different occasion?
A:        Yes, absolutely!  All of our cards are custom-designed by us.  They are not purchased templates.  Every card may
be altered to suit a different occasion.  Most designs may also be designed with a different color scheme.  Please
be specific on your color selections, so we may design your proof as accurately as possible.

Q:        Is there a limit on text characters for my card?
A:        This is dependent upon the card design selected.  Most cards allow for unlimited text; however, extended text may
be placed in a smaller font to fit the card size selected.

Q:        Is there a minimum number of cards per order?
A:        Our flat, folded and postcards are sold in quantities of 24.

Q:        Will envelopes come with my cards?
A:        Of course!  We include appropriately sized envelopes with all flat and folded photo cards.  Envelopes are not included
with postcards.  Postcards will be designed with your return address and space for a mailing address.

Q:        On what type of paper will you print my cards?
A:        Our flat photo cards are printed on Fuji Professional Paper by Fujifilm.  This is professional photographic paper and
the same paper on which all of our photographic prints are printed.  Our folded photo cards are printed on your
choice of glossy, linen or pearl professional card stock.

Q:        May I see a sample of your paper before I order my cards?
A:        Upon request, we will be happy to mail you a sample of a flat card and a folded card, so you can see (and feel) the
quality of our paper before preparing your proof.  You will find that the quality of our paper and printing is
unparalleled by most in the online greeting card industry.

Q:        Who will print my cards?
A:        Upon approval of your proof, your card will be sent to our professional photographic printer for printing.

Q:        How long will it take to receive my order?
A:        In most instances, your order will be printed and shipped to you within 24 hours.  We ship via UPS Ground; therefore,
your order should be received in 3-5 business days.

Q:        What methods of payment do you accept?
A:        Your order may be placed using MasterCard, Visa, and American Express, or an electronic check is welcome.
Orders submitted utilizing electronic checks will not be fulfilled until the electronic check has been processed,
        typically 3-4 business days.

Q:        What if there is a mistake on my card?
A:        You will have the opportunity to proof your card before placing your order.  Order placement through your proofing
gallery signifies that you have approved your final card for printing.  Your card order will be printed exactly as seen
on your final proof.  Please keep in mind that all computer monitors are calibrated differently in color and contrast.
There may be slight color variances on your printed card versus what you see on your monitor.
